Sweet Potato Pie

 The perfect blend of flavour and texture. This sweet potato pie is what you end your day with.


9 inch pie shell 

2 1/2- 3 cups of pureed sweet potato
1/3 cup of condense milk
1/3 cup of granulated white sugar
1 tsp of ground clove
2 tsp of nutmeg
Vanilla essence to taste
A pinch of salt

Coconut sugar - for topping
1 tbsp butter - for pie shell


Pie Shell

  1. Should be refrigerated for 3 hours prior to baking
  2. Brush the inside of the shell with melted butter

  1. Boil potatoes until soft
  2. Add in all ingredients: sugar, milk, clove, essence, and salt
  3. Using either a wood spoon or hand mixer, mix ingredients until well combined
  4. Pour pie into unbaked pie shell
  5. Sprinkle Coconut sugar and nutmeg over the entire pie - optional

  • Preheat and bake at 350⁰ 
  • Bake pie for 40 minutes.
  • Allow to cool before serving.
