Quick Banana bread
But on the days we completely forget about breakfast... The bananas turn brown on our kitchen counter and then.. Well we make Banana Bread.
This is a go to recipe of mine... Takes literally 10 minutes to put together with the right ingredients.
Try it out...
5 very ripe bananas
3/4 cup of sugar..i added an extra 2 tablespoon for some extra sweetness
1 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 cup of white flour
1 egg
1/3 cup of melted butter
Freshly grated nutmeg(if preferred, use essence like vanilla or almond)
Hand/stand mixer or hand beaten is okay for this recipe.
After mashing Bananas, slowly add wet ingredients to batter while mixing.
Then add flour.
Oven instructions:
Preheat at 350°
Bake for 1 hr, cake should slightly rise.
Test with a toothpick-if the toothpick is sticky, leave cake in the oven for a few more minutes.
Cool on a wire rack before serving.
The end result:
Waste nothing, eat everything.
